Who is Old Friend Farms?

Old friend Farms is Dana (mama), Noah (papa), and Bertie Sue (potato). Touring musicians and homesteaders from NWA that have been developing Old Friend Farms since 2020. We like to think of ourselves as stewards for this magical piece of planet earth.

Why Is Old Friend Farms?

When the pandemic started, venues across the country closed and we found ourselves stuck and unsure we’d ever get back to touring and playing music in front of live audiences again. We took the opportunity to move out to Dana’s family land. Slowly and unavoidably, we unplugged and tucked deeper into this beautiful valley, bushwhacking by day stargazeing by night, cooking on campfires and bathing in the creek. We spent our time outside, exploring. Trying to make sense of the changing landscape and the new world we were all living in. We found ourselves excited to clear places dense with brambles, build garden beds and structures, and discovered a new creative outlet.

Inspired by the beauty surrounding us, we spent lots of time dreaming up ways to share this place with other people. We had our wedding out on the property and it woke in us the idea that we could hold a space for others who might want to share a similar intimate experience away from the noise and energy of town.

Who Is Old Friend Farms For?

Old Friend Farms is for anyone looking for a unique and magical outdoor space to host their next intimate wedding or event. It is a space for Outdoor Educators and Artists of all mediums to share and develop in ways that is mindful of the nature surrounding us.   

This little corner of the world could not have been made into what it is today without the help and generosity of family and friends.
